Our government was built on Christianity. It is pretty easy to see from what our country's creators wrote and spoke. Even in the Declaration of independence.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal(1)(2)(3)(4), that they are endowed by their Creator(6)(7) with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life(8)(9), Liberty(10) and the pursuit of Happiness(9)(11)."

(8) Exodus 20:13 (New King James Version)

You shall not murder.

(9) Psalm 16:11 (New King James Version)

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

(10) Galatians 5:1 (New King James Version)

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

(11) Ecclesiastes 2:24-26 (New King James Version)

Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God. For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment, more than I? For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight;
